That is SICK! I want one. I'm obsessed with drifting online. I've got enough practise now I can link each corner on most popular drift tracks similar to this (but a lot slower). Check this out:

He'd have to be using a wheel; he's got too much control :turboboink:

Yeah you can calibrate it..

You can make it full lock with half turns even..

The sensetivity there is on low.. and Veva cant drive anyways ;) lol

You adjust it via the settings menu.

If you increase the steering wheel sensitivity and turn off the wheel assist, the ffb will drop

Oh also - the sensetivity is done in game! in the settings menu

ok maybe that's why I missed it. Do you mean while you're racing, in the pause menu? I'll have a look tonight. It's not a huge issue, I just notice on some cars you need to turn the wheel too much to perform a turn. Driving in the wet with a G27 is amazing lol.

Yeah it is while your driving. Or even in the lobby prior to clicking on race Start. You go into settings and you will see the traction controll and ASM, etc right at the bottom is controller/wheel sensitivity.

Its the best with the wheel mate! I love mine.. Playing online, I rip everyone as I can feather the brake and accel and really get the apex right :turboboink: :turboboink: :turboboink:

lol I must be blind, dunno how I missed it.

Yeah throttle/brake control is too good with pedals, same with the wheel turns. Cannot get that kind fo precise control with a control pad.

I didn't play this for a long time, as I didn't really have anywhere permanent to set up my sim in my old house, and constantly dragging it out to the living room then back was a pain and I couldn't get much play time anyway as it is the main living area so I just dumped it in storage until I moved out. I now have a dedicated gaming area in my new place so I got stuck into it again...forgot how much fun it was lol. Also realised I forgot to add you, so I'll add you as soon as I can so we can have a few races. I'll need a bit of practice though, as I've forgotten how to use the bloody thing from not using it for so long.

Wanted to ask you, do you use the paddles to shift, or the shifter/clutch?

Looks good mate!!

My Obutto arrived today! Just set it up, holy crap I cant wait to get a G27 and get racing!

Also, as well as drive GT5 im going to fly DCS A10(on PC) from mine , so im in the process of getting 3 24inch BenQ monitors and track IR.

This is going to be fckin awesome!!

Do the BenQ's have Display Port input?

At the time I set up my Eyefinity set up atleast one monitor had to use the display port on the video card.

When you plug two into the DVI's the HDMI is disabled.

I tried getting around this by installing a second card but no luck.

So either have one monitor with Display port or you can buy and adapter.

The adapter needs to be a powered Display port to DVI or HDMI, so it not only plugs into your video card but also uses a usb port to power it.

But this was nearly 2 years ago when I set mine up. mite be different now.

I highly recomend DELL monitors. They have narrow bezels, display port and can rotate into portrait mode.

I play car racing and first person shooters at resolution 5760x1200 landscape, and flight sims @3600x1920 portrait.

Im a chopper whore...

Another note is running 3 monitors at max resolution is very taxing on your graphics card. Make sure you have a pretty high level card. HD5870 minimum.(I have 2 of these)

Or if your motherboard supports crossfire slip in a second card the same as the one you have.

Also most games require tweaking of config files to work in eyefinity. that's how I got my COD ban hahaha... FKKKKRS...

but at $549 including free delivery (unless you'e in a rural area)

where u score that deal mate?
