*Beep* you tried to fit different bolt on parts from different manufacturers together. If I were a tuner/mechanic I would have cut my own pen*s off before trying to convince you what you should be doing. You're too stubborn. You didn't listen to anyone and still haven't. I understand you're trying to do things differently to others but why all the rigmerall while doing it? If you need some help, ring your tuner who you praise to the ends of the Earth, don't get on here and type your jargon and expect the people who you sh*t stir for months on end to give you a serious answer to your questions. All you will cop is what you see above...

withstupid.gif Could not of said it better myself.

Yes people want to help that's what the forum is about but with that help you can either take it or leave it and if you choose the latter then it's no good coming back later crying foul.

Allot of your questions should be able to be answered by your tuner, and if they can't answer them then might be time to look elsewhere. There are quite a few tuners on here that can pretty much answer anything you throw at them and this is why they have such good reputations.

We all know it's not really THAT hard to get power out of these cars but to really know what your doing, do it safely and have a good understanding of how our cars work takes quite a bit of skill and knowledge.

Not all tuners have this, the ones that do know who they are and so does pretty much everyone else...

Headsex- your mounting position for the 044's is sweet.

*Beep*- pic below how me and sinan did my braket and added another 044 on my setup. (in its early stages.. 1 month ago) but I got mick (pitlane) to make it more secure and do full re-wireing, new fittings etc. I havent got any new pics. but it works.

finished product is on the car. havnt had a chance to take any new photos. need a jack :)

also I have a turbosmart 1200 series fuel reg mounted (behind the stock plenum) its visable...

Headsex- I like how u did urs :D

*Beep*- just get dion dyno-mite to do your surgetank mods. it would be easyer than trying urself. anyways good luck with it all.

Of course he would want to fit things himself. More work for people == more money for people. I dont know danny from a bar of soap. Could of said anything for any reason. I have my view of our matter, he has his view.

I'm all for people fitting their sh*t and bringing it to me ready for a tune..

But mate, if you've got no idea like clearly you didn't. Then of course I'm going to suggest pay someone else fit it.

Really the best way I like to up size from an 044 is to use a bigger single pump.

We've been using Aeromotive 1000hp pumps on our big fuel systems with great results.

The main reason I like to use a big single pump as apossedto two 044s is RELIABILITY

Yes 2 x 044s will work well and support 1200odd HP... IF, one pump stops working, say through a wring issues or faulty pump ( and we all know pumps fail now and then ), the car wont stop, it will drive as normal, but only have half the fuel supply.

This wont show up driving it normally in traffic and at idle, but once you get onto boost and full power, and yourgonna lean out big time.

If you run a stock in tank pump to feed the surge tank wouldnt the stock pump still provide enough fuel to cruise around with despite the busted main pump giving the same risk as running 2 044's?
