If really worried, you can have it tuned with wife tune (like valet tune) and just reflash your tune in when you drive it.

You will need to do it with xcal, sniper or other tuner.

Should not have hassle with warranty, I would just discuss I with whatever dealer you choose first.

You could set traction to max, rpm to 3500 that way if she did put foot into it to pass in the wet it would be a lot safer.

The fact that they have a open diff will also mean they are a lot safer.

Also choice of tyre will help alot to, don't put big cheap tyres on like nangkangs, it will be worst then factory rubber.

The falcon is one of the safest Australian cars you can buy with Ancap 5 star rating.

She will love it

Hmm. I would rather not have to touch the car but see your point.

Top quality tyres are always a must on all my cars. I was just concerned that the G6ET may have be twitchy like the XR6T.

Sounds like it is not due to the slighter softer setup, lack of LSD and different / tamer DSC calibration.

Sorry but open wheelers aren't safer than an LSD, in an LSD you have control in an open wheeler it spins one the two then one maybe this time it spins both again, I've done some massive tank slappers, massive gutter to gutter... Very fun and exciting but not controlled like with a LSD...

Mine hasn't got much power but on kick down in damp conditions will start peeling out on the freeway with very good tyres... All fun again

Honestly the traction control in mine does nothing, just puts an end to standstill burnouts after they start, but driving nothing, then sometimes it does to much out of the blue

Get a xr6t better IMHO if you planning to keep it factory stock, if not then a g6e and put a limo in it.... I am putting one in, but I want to set the fastest possible 1/4 mile time I can on street rubber open diff then it's going straight in.

I bought my wife a G6ET as her family run around. She has never mentioned a problem about kicking out. Its a solid car, if this thread was about a ute for your wife, then I would agree!

If you are hitting gutters in a G6ET than you need driving lessons....have owned both and would think that the G6ET is by far easier to handle......just get her a Expensive Daewoo to be real safe from speed wobbles

May I ask why you want a G6ET for the wife and why a G6E wouldn't be suffice?

G6E NA would suffice but I guess the fact that I may drive it 20% of the time I thought wouldn't mind having something special and respectable.

Also rather than a new G6E NA I can get a second hand clean G6ET thus got down this thought process.

Last factor is I am a bit of a car nut and would have G6ET envy if I got a G6ENA every time I would pull up next to one.
