Hi all,

Looking for some feedback from the G6ET community as am considering a G6ET for day to day family duties, driven predominately by the wife.

My questions stems from a mate of mine owning an FG XR6T auto which I find it too taily. It would be fine for me however would no doubt be too scary for the wife in the wet.

Question. Is the G6ET is more subdued / tame in its DSC calibration? Eg. not as eager step out like the XR6T.

I am hoping it is more tame due to the no LSD factor.

Thanks,

Pat

Sorry mate but you probably don't want to here this but mine skates very easily, its stock with maxxis tyres and LSD. I would not let let the missus drive the car in the wet at all LSD or no LSD. Maybe the single spinners are a little more user friendly but IMO to much power for the family daily. Save yourself a bucket load of coin and just buy a G6E.

You serious Dillz?

You can drive any car around without spinning the back tyres in the wet if you drive it properly. It not like your going to be using the cars peak power at 1/4 throttle.

The wifey here mostly drives the T and has never had a problem. They only go as hard as you press the throttle

Don't listen to Dillz...he squats to piss.

They are one of the most refined and easy to handle vehicles out there, and the G6ET even more so than the XR6T. Provided you have restraint with the right foot otherwise it's all :3gears:

lol G6ET the moderators car of choice !!!!

Your wife will have no problems with this car, wet or dry as the DSC will keep any leadfoot under control.

My wife hasno problems driving mine, even with over 400kws she's never had any issues.

We did a Melb to Syd drive mostly in the rain and she was fine for the few hours she drove.

Just leave the traction control on, its set up to work with the open diff, and works very well.
