What On Earth Have They Done

OK, so I get my brake shudder fixed today, and that's all going good (I think).

When I dropped it off, I also mentioned that the steering had seemed a little 'loose' recently. Guy scribbles something, and says they will have a look.

I get it back, and the service docket says:

32FOZZZZZZ016 Noise in front

Rectify noise in front - Release steering rack, file & lube contact points, retention steering rack

I thinks, OK, if that is the problem, sure, why not - although I did not mention a noise in the front. Anyway, I make my way home, and go to reverse park... Vibrations through the steering wheel like you would not believe

Is that normal? Will it go away if I go and do a few reverse parks just for the hell of it?

Please don't tell me I have to go back to the dealer :holiday:

ours went in to get the brakes done... (which sorta worked one of the rears is still obviously rubbing cause it gets way hotter than the others)... and now the handbrake dosent work! yay!

Unfortunately when you do the dissassembling that is required to machine the rotors we are required to turn the wheels by hand without the engine running. For some unknown reason by doing this it introduces the steering shudder. When we contact the powers that be (FORD) we are told to find a smooth peice of road(or sealed carpark) and drive the vehicle in a series of figure 8's going from lock to lock with the steering. Out of all the vehicles that I have done this to(and that's a sh*tload of em),none have ever got better .It does however eventually go away but in the mean time it is going to piss you off.

I've heard that spraying the car with the blood of a freshly sacrificed white chook, then sprinkle some dried bats innards mixed with eye of newt gets rid of drive-line shunt as well...........

I have to laugh at at these remedies that have been suggested and why do everytime we have to go to the DEVILS workshop [Dealer]you have to come out with another problem and then be informed to do marvellous tricks to cure your hassle.What gives?.

The spells and curses we have been subjected to are all to much.Is there a cure out there?.

Surely there is someone out there who can rid these evil spirits.
