but try Toyos, the Proxe 4s, T1Rs, R1Rs will do what you want

I like the Dunlops.

Last well, good grip in the dry and wet.

I bought another set when my originals were worn. Very cheap on eBay.com.au

I have yokohama Advans on my other car. 295 45 20. Awesome tyres and very quiet

I can't get traction with dunlops and am suprised you like them in the wet. I quite frankly find them scary!

I am happy to spend the money on quality tyres as it may just save my life one day.

The advans seem to have a good following.. Anyone else have a suggestion as I'm ready to purchase now

I have re001 and the cornering is miles better than the pzero neros, straight line no better but my neros were 275 the re001 are 245

They can be had for $220ea in 245/35/19

So far they seem reasonable and better than the factory dunlops, but I think they will get noisy as they wear especially on course chip bitumen, but can't complain for the price.... eBay is where you can get them for the above price my local can do them for $300ea

I'll probably get some for the front and give the re11's a try for the back.

There is a new s04? Rates higher than re12 so may try also.

The Toyo T1R has been replaced by the new T1S (sport?) hasn't it? They'd be a great street tyre I imagine, although proper street legal semi slicks are grippier. I've got some 295/30/19 Toyo R888s ready to go on once my gearbox is finished being built & I can do more hard launches & burn the Advan AD08s off. Can't wait to see how they go after a few guys with a lot more rwkw than me have given them great feedback.

On a similar note,

Anyone got suggestions on makes/models for 235/40 ZR 18's?

I've got Corsa 2233 on the rear and Styre on the front. They came on the car and they're okay but looking for something better when the time comes.

The continental sport contact 2 has been the best tyre I have driven on. They are designed to run on big mercs so they suit our big falcons well. nice wide footprint with excellent wet weather traction. Last a reasonable amount of kilometers considering how they get treated on a big power/torque car.

Thinking about trying these soon.

Apparently all the Lambo guys in the states are ripping off the Contis and Pilots and chucking these on!

The new Nitto Invo!!!!
