I'm lowering the XR6T (sedan) and want to drop it quite substantially. I know there are a few ppl here who have done it, and I am after ACCURATE measurements for the purpose of comparison.

I think this topic is elsewhere, but not in the detail I am chasing.

Could ppl please write below or PM or email me, with all the following details.

MANUFACTURER: e.g. Kings, Lovells, Herrod etc.

Spring Code: e.g. Superlow maybe KSFL xxx

Front before:

Front after:

Rear before:

Rear after:

Measuring from: e.g. Guard lip to centre of hub (rim) or guard lip to bottom of rim etc. If measured to the rim, pls include rim size, as the measurement will change if you are running 17's, 19's etc.

Thanks

Andrew

Ive got King springs and measure from lip to centre of hub

Front = 350

Rear = 355

Yeah I've got the same springs

350mm front

355mm rear

If you purchase springs that are as low as this then you'll have to trim the rear bump stop type device that's attached to the lower swing arm on the rear suspension.

Ride isn't too harsh just right.

I think I posted the following elsewhere...but here goes again:

18" factory rims & tyres, measurements from bottom of rim to centre (lowest point) on guard.

Before Front = 610mm

Before Rear = 620mm

Fitted Kings Springs (no caster kit) part #'s KFFL-57SL (fronts) & KFRL-68SSL (rears).

After Front = 580mm (ie dropped 30mm)

After Rear = 590mm (ie dropped 30mm)

Also told that they will further "settle" or "sag" another 5~10mm

Just measured it on my car.

From guard lip to middle of hub.

340mm front

345mm back

(give or take 10mm, due to not so level surface in the garage when I measured it)

Herrod Suspension kit. Springs and adjustable camber. Dunno the brands though.
