My auto T (with Unichip) averages high 9's on a freeway trip (lowest of 9.16L/100km for 360km freeway trip on cruise at 110). Around town 14-15L/100km. I have recently had an APS phase 2 fitted but haven't had the first tank through it, so will post figures soon.

In comparison my manual BAXR8 ute uses around 1-1.5L/Km more than the T on the highway but around the same around town (14-15L/100km). These figures are actual (not from the trip computer) as the display seems to indicate around 0.4-0.5L/100km higher.

How many L fuel tank is it?? 60-65?? I've put 58L in once and that was almost dead empty according to the fuel gauge. I average about 500kms to a tank, so that's about 12l per 100, mostly highway!

OXR747 I agree with you - even though the 2nd bell has gone (schools in, end of playtime), the supposed 68ltr tank usually refuses to drink more than 59ltrs - strange. Rocking the car from side to side to burp it looks kinda stupid and it's heavy!

Round trip to Canberra from Sydney - 592 km from fill up to arrival home. DTE shows 8km left. Will see how much petrol she drinks next fill-up.

I'm glad you guys posted this stuff.

I have had my T for three weeks on Tuesday and was really concerned about the fuel economy. Not that I give a stuff about the consumption but I had people say stuff like "you have a blocked injector blah blah blah.

I have now done 1950 kms (just done a trip to Dubbo) so am hoping the fuel economy will improve (sounds like it will).

Around the city I am getting about 17.5 litres/100 and average to Dubbo was 12.5l/100.

Update: Have eventually filled up after the round trip to Canberra. Total distance travelled since last fill = 597 km, Litres in tonight = 61.59, giving an economy rate of just under 9.7L/100 kms. 98% of that is freeway conditions.
