Lolmygod, there the same valve springs Bf onwards. Bf valve springs are fine for up to 400ish give or take, as are bf2. See how 2006 fits in the middle of 05 and 08 *Beep*?

Op, utes fuel pumps are positioned better, so you don't have to worry about surging or failing around the 300rwkw. Not sure where they max out in utes, around 330odd Is close to maxed I believe. It should go as far as your 42s anyway. Although a cheap intank would be better quality than oem.

Post 06/06 BF had different springs and rods. Regardless, it all depends on boost. That's usually what causes float. You should do them just to be safe but they can float just with a simple tune, they're that bad.

My mistake, so bf springs get better after BA and then better again after 06?

Can we keep this civilised please...

TOUGHBFTURBO the things the guys are talking/arguing about (valve springs, fuel pump) aren't 100% necessary to make the power your after but more allow the ability to make that power more easily and safely so are considered cheap insurance against destroying your engine. At roughly $500 for both personally I think its worth the money.

burnt yet again I see henz. Learn to use the SEARCH button and r&d before 'trying' to abuse thanks.

Dillz, to make the power henz is quoting, he WILL 100 % have to change the vsprings. Does anyone know anyone CURRENTLY running over 300rwkw with stock vsprings on a pre 06/06 motor on pump? As for the fuel pump...not sure about the utes. So since its a ute, we will leave that discussion there.

~270rwkw will be the limit roughly for vsprings (depending on (happy) dyno.)

dont know about that... mine made 420rwkw on bf valve springs, the process west cooler is very consistant for 300rwkw using the std plenum and air intake,if you push 350 it struggles on a warm day.

Can’t name any cars off the top of my head but I can guarantee in the history of the forum there have been numerous BA’s running 300 on stock valve springs. But this thread is not about BA’s so that discussion is now over.
