Yeh mate didnt do the cat this time around. for 2 reasons.

1, I would love to put a full system on it and didnt wanna pay for fitting a cat and then pull it apart in 6 months

2, im stoked with 370 at the wheels (276kw dillz :P) and will get used to this power before I head for round 2, in which I will do the fuel pump and waste gate actuator aswell.

Ill hit the round about 300 -320rwkw mark and then start and think about internals before going any harder.

Lol (kw reference), mate if your making that with just injectors and tune (cooler doesn't matter as much atm) and no exhaust mods I'd be very happy..

Once you do your next round of mods and an exhaust you will be laughin, you might need VS but I'd get it done first and find out before you spend money you might not need too.

that's pretty good power. Once you get up around 320 you wanna start looking at mods that give you more driveability other than just power. You will know what I mean when ya get there.

Hey mate I went downt he same path as you, I have 278rwkw now, was my first stage of mods now im going back to 330rwkw :D

278 was good for about a month, and then you get bored and think your car is slow again lol

well the mods I ended up getting were,

60lbs injectors

Process west stage 2.2

stage 2 cooler

under battery K&N Pod straight onto the turbo

throttle body relocation

and a 12psi tune, tuned by RDP.

Yeah im stoked with the power, its pretty restricted at the moment by the stock exhaust.

Rudiger, can you elaborate a bit on what you had in mind?

Its a magnet edition ute so it has a premium brake package on it, the only other thing I can think of is maybe new sway bars.

When I got my car done first it made 325rwkw. However the power came in sort of late. All I had was exhaust, cooler, injectors and fuel pump. Tune was about 12 psi but I felt like I really had to get it up and going before I really felt the power come in.

Then I went to 372 at the wheels. Bigger cooler again, plenum and battery relocation with a very short intake. Tune went up to about 17psi.

Well the power comes on stronger a lot sooner. I am told due to the shorter intake but also helps with the plenum. I can putter around ok, but tickle it a little and its all go with very little lag, in fact lag is barely noticeable.

To me, the car is a hell of a lot more driveable, however, 372 is just a little bit too much once you start getting into it. Once the torque kicks in the rears light up and I have to back off. The car has pulled 12 flat down the quarter with a 2.2 second 60 foot but an end speed of 125mph, this is with a heap of wheel spin at the start and a slipping transmission towards the end. Maybe with a little less power I could go quicker but then maybe I'm just a cr@p driver.

My point is, theres no sense having 600 kw at the treads if you can never use it. Like I said, when my power came in late it was useless to me. By the time the power really started to come in, I was doing 140 and I had run out of driveway. Now I can have fun and I'm only doing 45.

Different mods will get you different things, but when you drive one of these cars with the power coming on strong nice and early you will get my meaning. Those who have a similar power curve to mine will know what I'm talking about. When I get boost right and I'm in the right gear coming out of a corner, after 14 months the bloody thing amazes and sometimes scares the hell out of me. And that's at around say 2500 to 3000 revs.

If anyone disagrees, I'll cop that. Each to there own I think.

One of the guys on here showed me his dyno and he makes mine looke like a Pulsar the way his brings on power. But I'm happy.

I hope that sort of explains where I'm coming from.
