Hey, I was having a stickybeak around under the car today, and have noticed that the cat to 'massive rear muffler part' has twin 2.25 inch pipes running into it (this is where the bung normally is). Upon further inspection, the rear side of it is single 3.5 inch with a smaller muffler and twin tips. I've had the de-bung done, but I'm actually toying with the idea of having the front section dropped out and running a single 3.5 inch from the cat all the way back, and having the rear muffler replaced with a single in, and single out 3.5 inch, rather than a single in and twin out. The obvious benefits of this mean later on I can just drop the cat out and replace it with a 100cpi hi-flo variant.

What are peoples oppinions on this. Obviouly the d-bung works wekk into the 330+kw range, but why not run a 3.5 from cat back if it only needs one section of the exhaust replaces and one muffler replaced?
