Donating Members 8,142 Member For: 14y 2m 13d Gender: Male Location: 2 Fuchsia Court, Narre Warren. 3805 Posted 29/01/11 09:53 AM Share Posted 29/01/11 09:53 AM Im currently in the process of fabricating a custom tray for my fg xr6t ute and before it goes on I will be fabricating a custom zorst for it.I have purchased a stainless xforce 4" dump and an outlaw 5" 200 cell cat.Im after advice on what way to go for muffler choice (I have absolutely no idea)pipe diameter (leaning towards 3 1/2" single with twin 3" tips)single vs twin (as above but please comment if you can offer suggestion)tips diameteretc.heres a couple of pics (SMACXR8 from AFF) to show you what im planning.I am leaning towards a single 3 1/2" system split into twin 3" tips after last muffler.There is a fair bit of room between the bottom of the chassis and the bottom of the tray so even 4" would be a piece of cake to fit,but I obviously want it to sound as sweet as possible.Straight after its installed its goin to mick (pit lane) for the rest of its first round mods and should max out the turbo at around the 320rwkw.So yer if any of you could share your expert opinions it would be most appreciated P.S. this is all happening within the next two weeks... You want the look at the back just put in some fake ones. Could even add the 2nd side outlet to. Got to remember can't see car from all angle's at once so if you run 1 side exit it won't really be that noticeable. Could you imagine a single muffler 4" system exiting on the side. MmmmmmMaybe even could get a flame out to if you can get system hot enough with little rich mix on off throttle in tune. Having flame may not go down to well with local authorities though...Would scare the crap out of Expensive Daewoo drivers though. And could lay claim to really torching those hsv's.
