Worm A much better forum Silver Donating Members 3,808 Member For: 16y 3m 26d Gender: Male Location: Victoria Posted 02/02/11 05:22 AM Share Posted 02/02/11 05:22 AM I am "trying" achilles atr 245/30/20 tomorrow...If they are sh*t, I'll go altenzo... LOL then neuton... Find the best ones...In all honestly, Nankang provide very good grip!!! But it's at the drivability of the car as the noise levels at the front are seriously WORSE then 4wd Tyres... I hate it!
phil545 Member 47 Member For: 15y 2m Posted 03/02/11 02:29 AM Share Posted 03/02/11 02:29 AM I am running the archilles atr sport in 245/35/19 after I went through a set of Z1s in a tad over 20,000km (this was down to the point of bald and actually showing the belt in some parts). The archilles were only $150 each and with a 400 treadwear rating I thought brilliant!! I will get much more use out of them, I am about a mm or 2 from the treadwear indicators and I have done 21,000km so far plus the traction they give is actually pretty decent. I would most likely use these again even though people have said they have weak sidewalls if they pop that's a manufacturer defect and then get a new set under warranty :-) might not ever have to buy new tyres again lol
