Standard is 19x8... 20x9.5 is more than 1 inch... Effects the track of the car...Again not true, you do not need it engineered, read the link. The only thing that changes the track of the car is the offset, a 19x10+35 will give the same track as a 19x8+35. Also you have to keep the track within 15mm of the original wheel specs, without reducing the track either. If you run a 19x8+36 then the lowest offset you could run would be +29 but nothing higher. The widest rims you can fit on our cars is 12" provided the tyres are no wider than 315. Went from hopeless nankangs ( sidewall exploded on me!) to a set of the austyre. They looked good but were hopeless, rained the day after I got them. Fitted potenza's the next day as I've never been so scared in my own car. (this was in my Mazda mps which had 20's)For me the cost increase in quality tyres is worth every cent. I am happy to spend 5-600 a corner as I will enjoy my car so much more. can't wait to f these hopeless dunlops! Much easier on FG as profile can be 35... And still fit...Thanks for comment... I am at a but of a loss at the moment. Think I will just leave it as is till I upgrade to an FG... I like how it looks now... I think I have the perfect wheels, height and look for the car (except brembos, but I'd never use them.. So pointless...)And to get back to topic... If you have an FG you have much more options, as a 245/35/20 will fit and many more of them as load rated. This is a common size on a commodore...
