About to buy an fg xr6t and I have the option of 20" fpv copies which look great or the 19" luxury pack wheels put back on. Love the look of the 20's but will it give warranty issues. Any advice or experiances would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

The wheels you choose should not affect anything. The wheels themselves won't be covered (of course!)

As long as the tyres you choose are of the same or better spec than the oem I can't see any problem ( other than the negative performance from fitting 20's but if it looks good it's a small price to pay)

Tyres will be sh*t if 20's... And if staggered (ie. 20x9.5) will be illegal in all states.

OEM wheels better made. Have more options on Tyres... Come with reasonable Tyres... Ride better... And look sweet.

I'd go OEM... Can always change later and will get better $$$ for 19 stockies!!!

1 inch wider than standard is the max you can go, unless you have it engineered... Standard is 19x8... 20x9.5 is more than 1 inch... Effects the track of the car...

The 20" FPV copies are only 8" wide so you won't have any issues. And they make good tyres for 20's now worm, I've got Maxxis MA-Z1's. I used to run them on the old phoon and they held up 360 quite well.

The only thing is your speedo will be out. Mine reads 96kph at 100kph so watch yourself with speed cameras :3gears:

Are they load rated? (93+?) If they are I will buy them!

Maxxis MAZ1 best value for $$$ Tyres you can get IMHO

that's what I've read too. was looking at the MA-Z1's (legal profile and load rated) but was told it's getting harder and harder to find a place that stocks them, is that true anyone?
