Are those brake vents?Don't know how beneficial those things would be for brake cooling. It's probably just a vent to let the air out from the intercooler as otherwise you wouldn't have a very good air flow and there would be a fair bit of preasure on the inner guard plastic. the package benefits from side mounted intercoolers to help keep temperatures under wraps. Is that clearer... Guest XR09 Guests Posted 25/01/11 01:28 AM Share Posted 25/01/11 01:28 AM brake ventsThe side coolers should allow more fresh air to pass through the main radiator. And they wont get in the road of the airbag sensor when we fit bigger ones mmm GT350 sounds good.

People predicted it for the GT335, but seemed wrong - maybe it's the GT-HO which won't have them, being replaced by mini-intercoolers.

Arkayne Member 203 Member For: 15y 10m 26d Gender: Male Posted 25/01/11 04:05 PM Share Posted 25/01/11 04:05 PM (edited) I always wondered what the benefit of an intercooler is on a supercharger. Anyone care to enlighten? I'm aware how it works for the i6 turbo, but how does it work for the gt 335 if you fit an aftermarket one? Or, in this case, if Fpv put a stock one on the gt-ho? Be few cheap T's once a GTHO gets released. F_ck I want one even settle for its little brother the GT. +1 anyone want a BA with 90% built tuff ass motor and setup up to support over 450rwkw. Ford have already smashed hsv with the GT and if the GTHO does come out it will be hunting euro elites. Can't think of a single gmh vehicle in it's class that is better then the equivalent Ford. Just need Ford US to build a hot Ford GT and Shelby Stang that actually handles. To take the sportscar and Coupe fight on.
