9.5 PSi is starting to get up there for a Non Intercooled setup IMHO.

How does heat soak affect the power on back to back dyno runs I wonder? Would be interested to see the inlet

temp at the end of a standing 1/4 or standing kilometer.

Nice power though that's for sure and will be interesting once intercooler kits come out and 15 PSi is tried.

The GT does leave the gts for sh*t once it gets the power to the ground.

Wheels mag said by time GT is doing 180 it's 80m ahead.

That's a big gap.

Also either wheels or Motor mag stated 0-180 difference of around 2 seconds between GT and GTS. Can double check it if wanted as have mag here.

With those tiny rear rubber and all that power tells the story of the under 100k acceleration.

I know my T when I had around that power with bigger nangkangs it was hopeless, had a STD ? VE SS lead me till 3rd gear all because the fine line between traction and not.

I soon ditched those crap tyres for some Toyo Proxy 4's. Wasn't happening again.

Something the GT needs but think Fords durability testing won't allow it due to weak points in the driveline.

Mine you the Ford durability test level is very set high to worst case senario's.

You know probably tested towing 2 ton on the hottest day up the steepest mountain with

The most abuse possible.

Good thing is at least we know there is strength in upping the tunes.

I put my new GS on the dyno last week and it went 307.5rwkw or 412rwhp with 321kms on the speedo.

it was a hot 36 degree day and I just drove 100kms to get to the dyno.

then I fitted a twin 3" exhaust and got a custom tune and it then went 404.7rwkw or 542rwhp.

it has 9.5lb of boost and is a 6 speed manual.

it is still making power at the 6500rpm redline so I might get it changed to 7000rpm.

now its a fast car to drive.. Cheers

I will post a pic up soon..

maybe you need to take me for a drive :beerchug:

great reply.

I'll have to have a good read of the latest articles.

Cheers for the info.

I find it hard to read wheels etc much unfortunately as I get frustrated with thier continual love affair with the GTS. They constantly rave about its power delivery and steering feel etc and yet I have driven E1 and E2 GTS's and a VE SS ute and VE Calais and I have never been very fond of them at all (feel big, soft and doughy to me) and this is coming from someone whos last car was a modded VY SS lol.

I bought teh G6ET because it was the best car on the market (IMHO) when I was looking.

If I was looking now however I would be hard pressed to go past a GS or GT that's for sure, The only down sode for me is the bogan body kits, I wish you could get the coyote driveline in an understated more mature looking package.

have a mate who bought and dynoed one the day he bought it. 327rwkw, I'll see if he can e-mail me a scan of the dyno sheet. It's on youtube somewhere, will try to source link. After going for a drive in it, I would say that it would definately give my old 360rwkw XR6T a run for it's money... traction control works a treat in getting the power down, but it's actually quicker stalling it up a tiny bit and driving through the wheel spin. As a small and obsolete comaprison, it destroys my stock 2010 turbo territory off the line. No chance on my behalf.
