Still got a bit of mods to go planning on getting 800hp cooler kit and heavy duty valve springs from plazmaman, Xforce 4” turbo back exhaust stainless steel, Walbro Fuel pump and chasing a ford gt3540 turbo. Hoping to make around 330rwkw anything more will be a bonus should be easy to get more as my mates got 364rwkw with similar mods. Cant wait to get it all done hopefully should be done by March. If anyone has any good ideas or places where to purchase these cheap especially the ford gt3540 as I cant seem to find one cheap please feel free to contact me.Cheers, Mark. Looks alot like wormys nickname!Do the cooler and exhaust and leave the stock huffer, it'll come close enough to 330(maybe mid 320s) depends on dyno etc and wont notice the diff on the street. This is going by what I have read and told so im not to sure Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/72839-plans-for-my-fg-xr6t/#findComment-1074869 Share on other sites

Boosted1 Member 346 Member For: 16y 5m 28d Posted 23/01/11 05:39 AM Share Posted 23/01/11 05:39 AM (edited) hey mate, as said 330rwkw is round the limit of the smaller turbos. but beleive me 330rwkw with one of them is ALOT of fun! very quick onto full boost, quite hard to get any traction. great street turbo!!if I was in your boat and had a goal of 330rwkw, I would keep the factory turbo for the time being. put a 12lb actuator on it, full cooler kit, 100cpi cat with center muffler removed, x force 4"dump, shorten the inatke path (as your battery is not in the way)these mods above with your injectors will get you there or very close to your power goal. dont worry about doing your valve springs unless your tuner advises you to do so, some take 350rwkw some take a little less. same goes for the fuel system. with the dump, cat and turbo actuator now upgraded you should be able to push more boost quite safely. (round 14-16psi) haha but at the end of the day if you are wanting to push 350+ rwkw in the future maybe doing the turbo upgrade is a good idea. Benny Member 1,869 Member For: 21y 9m 16d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle Posted 23/01/11 07:17 AM Share Posted 23/01/11 07:17 AM With the standard power reading you got of 220rwkw from the dyno you go to then I'd think that on your standard GT3576 your max power might end up around the 310rwkw mark. To reach 330rwkw on that dyno I think you might need the larger turbo. You will sacrific some bottom end but gain quite a bit more up top. All depends where you want your power really. Do you want the 3576 that's an animal up to 140kph then levels off a little or something that just keeps pulling above that. If so then the GT3540 might be what you're after.Benny Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/72839-plans-for-my-fg-xr6t/#findComment-1074915 Share on other sites
