Not when I priced them up ,well there was no mention of cheaper prices with their cooler purchase, I've got 2 coolers coming and there was no mention

Did you ask about their pipe kit though Mick? I had ruled it out going off website price but they actually put it to me about doing it in a combo. When I did the maths it came out pretty well. Sure it was around $1350 and the cooler alone was around $900

yes, I asked while ordering the first cooler and the price was somewhere around $800 (I think)

Can't remember who I spoke to around Christmas - wish I did. Rang them again today and total kit is $1785.30. Cooler is $990(inc)on its own. That makes the pipe kit $795.30 which is too expensive. How much are you doing the Herrod kits for?

I thought it was close to $800, I think they are on par with some other kits re their price.

the herrods ones are $450

I knew the pipe kits were around the same money as plazmaman etc but no love for buying a 'combo' which is not what they'd told me last year. Still stacks up against others but Herrod's kit is significantly cheaper. Lucky for me they're 15 minutes up the road so will try and cut a deal when I rock up - you never know. Might just do it to shut me up and get me out the door :blaah: Worst case, buy the cooler of 'em and get another pipe kit - no biggie.

How about cooling and efficiency? To put you on the spot :stirthepot:

No way I would pay that when PW and Plaz are bigger, better and similar price.

I was talking about the pipe kits, not the coolers.

I have sitting in my shop at the momment, a brand new PWR cooler that I had them build with a couple of boss's fitted that I can run a pressure gauge on so I can check pressure going in and coming out. It will be going on Bels G6ET when ever I get a chance to fit it up.

I will be using the Herrod pipe kit when I do fit it.

I'm not expecting this cooler to outperform some of the bigger cooler choices we have from some of the other manufacturers, but the ones we have fitted in the past appear to work quite well for a bolt in, no modifcations to the car cooler.

I took some pics today when it arrived, so will try to get some fitted to the car with out the bar on.

So about $1440 all up, interesting. Keen to see the results you get on Bels car, what other mods you got planned?

Oh and what colour is the G6? Good choice btw :buttrock:

It's already go a Nizpro exhaust and at the momment just a set of F6 injectors and really really quick tune making high 290's, but the iat temps were starting to get too high so pulled it back to approx 290. when the cooler goes on I'll max these injectors and then possibly replace them with some genuine ID injectors probably their 725 ones and then 1000's (I have been in discussion with ID about selling their injectors), will eventually run a bigger turbo and larger intercooler in it though and possibly E85, I allready have a PW surge tank waiting for it when it needs it, had it made for twin pumps but will run 1 initially.
