Theres a bloke that does group buys on fordforums for a sound deadner product, almost identical to Dynamat, is a bit cheaper and does exactly the same job, have used it before and as far as I can see and hear, it does the same job, hope that helps

its probly that cheap sh*t you can get on ebay, months later it falls off and sits at the bottom of your doors/boot.... dont waste your time with cheaper alternatives when it comes to sound deadening, the effort involved in doing the job is worth the result if done correctly.

Dynamat all the way.

I just used flashtac for my doors, rear parcel tray. Its bitumen based though which isn't as good as the dynamats butyl based product but still worked well for the price.

I just used a heat gun, leather gloves and a homemade roller from one of my rc car foam wheels.

Dynamat is the stuff to use and I would have if my car was any good!

http://ryda.com.au had the best prices for Dynamat when I was looking around. Didn't look at ebay or overseas, as I just wanted a legit store that was in Sydney. The stuff is heavy and postage will likely cost...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using a cheaper alternative.

If the preparation work is done correctly the outcome is the same.

If you like paying for the brand name then go right ahead, but there are alternatives that do the same job for a fraction of the price.

I bought the cheaper stuff off ebay and 2 years later it's all still stuck on and no sign of any peeling.

Wax and grease remover, heat helps with a heat gun or hair dryer and apply pressure by rubbing and roll out the bubbles. Its sticks like sh!t to a blanket anyway but when you think if the car is in the sun the door skins will get fcking extemely hot so best prep produces best results.
