Hi.

I want to put some sound deadener in my doors to improve sound and help when I upgrade the fron speakers.

What stuff do you use? I have no idea on these things.

Dynamat is the most popular and most expensive! most suggest using it on the inside of the door skin aswell as around the speaker mounting area. Sealing all service holes on the door also improves the sound.

Thanks champ. Is the cheaper alternatives I've seen about as good?

Hey I would say NOT. Other's may disagree. Installing well is the key. Prep the area with a wax removal type cleaner and use a heat gun and a suitable roller to apply. I have only used dynamat, so can't comment on other options. Utube has alot of video's on installation techniques.

Nother vote here for Dynamat.

Its a *beep* to install, but if done corectly will yeild excellent results.

If you want to save money, dont do it. You'll be simply wasting your time.
