where the pipe connect to the turbo it is only 3". so a 3" silicone joiner off the turbo, or if you have a larger pipe get a silicone reducer say 4" - 3" if using a 4 inch pipe.

you could get a pipe 4", 3.5" whatever you like tapered down to 3"off the turbo if you want.

just need a pod with a 4" flange or whatever size pipe you get

Im guessing you actually mean can you fit a bigger than 3" pipe in that space under the battery. I don't know but if you measure it with a ruler you will. Why do you want bigger?

They say the under battery intake is restricted to 350-360rwkw so I presume its because its only 3" where as the 4" intake in the battery flows more so if I can make it 3.5" its obviously a less of a restriction.

With the bends and what not involved would it not be easier to relocate battery and put cold air box with 4" or whatever size right on, makes it nice and short too.

I agree go with the total relocation, but in saying that im still running a std airbox on mine and hasnt stopped me making that much power.

Just get Dion to up the boost to 15psi, and get a aftermarket exhaust, youll have more gains if u did that.

Personally, I don't like the 2 metre long piping from the stock airbox

That size is the biggest that will fit under the battery tray without any metal cutting (other than the trimming to clear the filter).

If you happy to go carving up the car, then a bigger pipe could be made to fit... we've done a custom 3.5inch intake through there, but dollar for dollar its easier to swap out the battery and run a 4inch and airbox.
