I have searched the topic and it seems that there are quite a few members with the diff whine between 95-110kph. My car does this but it also gets a viratiion at this speed also???? Its enough to blur the vision out the rear view mirror.....Is this a by-product of the diff whine or could my car actually have a different probelem??Ie tailshaft out of balance or CV issues. Please note I have changed wheel and tyre combos but the car does not change ruling tires out...The diff itself doesnt clunk and has minimal backlash, infact it seems perfect apart from the above.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to fix this issue sooner rather than later(BTW I have owned the car for 18 months and its done it since my ownership).

Cheers

Lee

Hey Mate

I got the EXACT same problem with mine. Except my vibration is worst around 80kmh.

I have rebuilt diff, had tailshaft balanced, new drivers side driveshaft. Still there.

Have been playing around this morning with it and noticed when I take the rotors off the vibration is gone. So just about to go pickup a set of rotors n see how I go.

Will let ya know.

Well not rotors. After more mucking around found diff is rooted. Just got another this arvo off a forum member so will be dropping that in.

I think the pinion on mine is bent causing the vibration. But will know 100% by the weekend. If it still does it I think I will burn the car lmao.

Not much else I can think of to do it. Will keep you posted.
