All

Whilst I have done the right thing and have donated time and money towards the national flood crisis a few things

stick in my craw..... badly. Here comes my list.

1/ Anna Thighs has upsurpped Buzzard in terms of leadership ( I mean WTF)

2/ ABN or fix infrastructure now damaged ( 43 BN$AU ? Will be washed away next flood anywhow.

3/ Hang on to the farkin ABN, what is wireless stuff of which you speak?

4/ How do we pay for it and return the budget to surplus ,not free of debt by 2013 ( able to pay interest on borrowings)

5/The beleagured and catatonic media approach to questions relating to same ?

6/ The onslaught into big business to fund this disaster rather than step into budgetry resposibility

7/The now gaping hole in the governtments estiments is close to the bigger whole ( Bring in Back Door Wayne)

8/ From sources ( * disclaimer to the site) , this is from a good source.Persons whom should be entitled to benefits

to recieve there dues payable tomorrow , will now get them on 2/2/11 when they have to report 1/1, for the next period

In effect the govt is effectively( my understated estimates) skimming AUm$500 per week in hedging. GTFO

Swann says we will get a surplus by 2013 depspite the disasters ? Farkin how ?given the drain on productivty

and consistent consumption and necessary capital outputs

Is the federal Govt going to yet again abbrogate their responsibillity ?

Carbon Tax .ie further cost to every home own under ( no pun intended) . It farkin reaks nothing of quality,

for every good and service in addition the the maligned GST ?

Oooh sorry that 's the food GST.

EVERY PERSON IN THIS COUNTRY WHEN IN NEED, NEED'S THEIR COUNTRY

The fundamental question to ME remains , sure your up your up to it " a pipe dream"

Now farking Bob Brown " the real PM " come July

Next

Red Jewels

PS You voted for ' em :finger:

I dont see what your political choice has to do with the floods... in any case in response to your list,

1, Im not from Qld but Bligh has handled the whole thing great from an interstate perspective, Gillard on the other hand....

2, NBN you mean? the floods in QLD and Vic dont change the need for us to do away with copper technology.

3, Wireless is not even remotely capable of being the main way of connecting to the internet (and I dont mean a wireless router at home that's still connected to a line.)

4, Read the NBN business plan its very detailed.

5, Read the Australian if your after anti NBN sentiment.

6, Dont quite understand what your getting at.

7, Estimates are indeed that, Estimates.

8, Naming the source? Without one its only innuendo.

A budget surplus is not the be all and end all of good governance, the NSW government has had its last couple budgets in surplus... doesnt make them any less a sh*thouse government about to booted out. Also have a look at the whirlpool forums theres a ton of threads on the NBN both pointing out the positives and negatives.

Seriously? Political discussion on a car forum? Weird ...

I've been following the Whirlpool forums discussion and it seems the biggest pro to come out of the NBN is the ability do download porn at immeasurable amounts per day faster than cable and ADSL combined. Again, weird ...

See im just not getting why everyone brings the whole porn thing into it, I havent seen this mentioned on WP though... NBN is about scrapping telstras doesnt give a f*&k attitude towards areas that dont reap enough profits to bother with and the bs monopoly they have in other areas. It also replaces the old copper network which if your not aware the Fed government pays telstra to maintain, to the tune of 400 mill per year...

Can't compere our geographical diversiy with the implied success of Korea .

Not the point however, whom and how you are you going to manage the books

without sending the cost of living into orbit ?

That's why NBN co. was formed, they're in charge of keeping the costs in line with the business plan, NBN co. has its own board separate to the government that makes all the decisisions and all with actual previous industry experience.

I love how NBN Co is going to be exempt from freedom of information laws. What a load of sh*te.

Sure the NBN will have its positives, but I reckon it's still overkill bringing fibre to the home. I always thought it would be cool having a T1 connection directly to my PC (probably to facilitate the faster viewing of nudity), but surely it would be enough having fibre to the node and then copper from there.

It was one thing with Julia's leadership when the flooding was just affecting QLD, but now the flooding is becoming a more national issue so is Julia's (lack of) leadership. "There's a lawwwt of waarter aroouuund isn't theeere.... I better kiss a bayyby or somethiiiing..."

What's the mission statement, budgets, costing and timeframes ? huh

You should bend Julia over ( I couldn't let Dags do it )
