dont forget scrutineering and all that stuff either im sure when rudiger gets some feedback and posts an actual event he'll get the scrutineering list from the track so we can all make sure the cars are up to scratch safety wise.

Do you still need to put tape over glass headlight lenses and all that other stuff?

im pretty sure they allow passengers in the cars at these events

They will work a lot better with a decent brake fluid in them. Cheapest and best track day mod you can do.

Im certain that you have to have as a minimum a half cage to take a passenger - I have done many a drift day at Winton and I had a half cage in my car so I was allowed to take passengers.

There will always be little things, 2nd bonnet latch, battery locatation sticker thing, helmet, long sleeve shirt. I'm not sure what else

Hi everyone. Look its heating up and theres a little interest there. I havent heard back from Winton and I was flat out today so Ill make some enquiries. I may even see if Calder is available. Its a bit of a boring track but a bit closer.

If youve listed interest, please monitor the thread for updates.

I am thinking later in the year in the months we dont have many cruises. Will be a gamble on the weather but then, be for fun in the wet, but that's just me.

Winton has "fun days" a few times a year, I went last year and it was a hoot! It was only 35 buck and the track was fully manned and support crew were available. It was not promoted as a race but afew people went flat out in purpose built cars. but there were a heap of people there.

Id be really interested as im going to a Driver Dynamics track training in March, and would love to do more for sure!
