sorry kyle173 I've never tried to hard to stall mine up to much but, I know it will stall to at least 1200 I've done that know problems, didn't even know about that safty feature thing, I know you can't flat rev them in neutral above 3 grand, but now I know, I would have sh*t myself if I did this and that happened so thank you. Again you do have 50 thousand on the clock as apposed to a basically knew engine so normal to maybe have to look at cleaning throttle body e.t.c if you havn't already done it that is. The ute is heavier too as someone else on here has said and I think 80 kg works out to be about .5 second, so not to bad really, sedan against sedan, ute against ute would be more of a fair comparison.Again your tyres might be older harder you could of been running different tyre pressures was this why your reaction time was abit slower maybe more wheel spin took longer to break the beam, so much that could be taken into account, I think you both did a fantastic job and as I said just fantastic to see two awesome looking fords side by side, well done to the both of you.

Coming from someone who bought a G6ET, which is just another word for an overpriced XR6T?

Silly jokes aside, speed isn't everything.

For one, you said that your mates car was tuned and had work done to it, comparing it to a car which is stock. Secondly, if I wanted a go-fast car without any form of luxury or compensation for money spent (cause the car would have a heck of a lot of problems producing such power when it's not from factory), I would have bought a Nissan 180sx or 32 GTR.

The point in buying an F6 or GT is the fact that you're getting a nice car, not one where you have to build it up to beat them stock.. nerrrr...

My brother ran his new stock GT 335 at the drags on Wednesday night and managed a best time of 12.5.

Not bad for a car straight from the factory!!

I ran my stock GS 315 sedan with ZF last night at willowbank, managed a 12.81 @ 109MPH, so I think a stock 335 should be slightly quicker

I only picked the car up Tuesday afternoon straight from ford, so I wasn't being hard on it. I feel if I can manage a 12.6 I'll be very happy
