(I am pretty sure there will be a case to have the 'borrowed' car returned in extenuating circumstances....)

I would of just said I was a massive fan & just really wanted a pic.As for the laws I think there a touch on the harsh side. The problem is that the definition of a hoon is up to the officer at the time & that leaves way too much room for human interpretation & emotion which can & will lead to unfair tickets for those that are normally pretty good & just have a momentary lapse. Myself im usually pretty good but I did build this car to have fun in it so I do give it a squirt from time to time but I try & be smart as far as when & where but it only takes one time at the wrong time & I. live with the same consequences as those that really deserve it

Obvious ones would be burnouts, street racing, kicking the back out etc.. But surely speeding is still speeding. If im doing 10kms over the limit and I drive a T am I a hoon and loose my car for 30 days?
spoolxr6 Member 312 Member For: 14y 1d Posted 15/01/11 08:07 AM Share Posted 15/01/11 08:07 AM I think they need to introduce some sort of mandatory advanced driver training prior to geting your license and then at some set intervals. All I have noticed over the years is that the Australian Government is only interested in its revenue and not the safety of its drivers. Why not educate rather than crack the whip and punish, a very negative approach to driver education if you ask me.
Worm A much better forum Silver Donating Members 3,808 Member For: 16y 3m 24d Gender: Male Location: Victoria Posted 15/01/11 08:11 AM Share Posted 15/01/11 08:11 AM f*ck... If kicking the back out is a hoon I am in trouble... If I drive mine in manual mode it screeches 1st/2nd from as low as 2500rpm... Mick @ PitLane made it shift nice and hard... LOL Spirited driving is what I call it... Not "hooning"... Hooning is skids, street racing... etc... Not spirited driving
