A turbo can be damaged by not enough oil pressure as well as too much oil pressure. I am not aware of the science behind it.PSI40,It is a b**ch of a job but seems easy now that I've done it. Make sure you have a 24mm deep socket (repco have them) and a 12.5mm extension bar for your ratchet. Also a cut down spanner if you want to keep the old oil line intact.Read this thread thoroughly: Make sure you have 2 new copper washers from Ford (about $3 each). These seal the new banjo fitting. The turbo currently has an adapter that allows the old banjo fitting to connect to it. The new line only has a banjo at the oil switch end so the new line screws directly into the turbo. Note that the fitting supplied will not sit flush in the turbo housing - it is not a problem however. At first I thought I'd been supplied the wrong fitting.Hint: remove the top bolts on the rear heat shield an gently move aside. This will allow better access to the turboCheck & tighten all fittings on the new line PRIOR to installing it. This was my one mistake and oil was leaking out.(the other mistake was the missus reversing over the old line and totally rooting it.If you wan't your install to look pretty then check the last few entries here: Mean't to say 125mm extension. Motorsport Connections are now doing one for our cars and the use a far superior filter and Speedflow connections and banjo! They are currently on special for AU$175.00. I guess opinions vary.I was always led tp believe thet Earls was one of the original and the best supplier of hoses and fittings and are used by leading teams in different forms of motorsport. One of my local bearing suppliers stocks Earls and Speedflow fittings and they tell me earl is the better choice and have a wider range of fittingsAlso found this, but it was taken from an earls siteEarl's Performance Products was founded by Earl Fouts nearly 50 years ago in the USA to supply high-quality military aircraft specification surplus plumbing components directly to the racing industry from a small retail outlet in Lawndale, California. As the military surplus market dried up, Earl Fouts recognised the need for continuity of supply to the racing market and pioneered the Earl's range of hoses and fittings.During the early 1970's, Earl's gained a foothold in the UK motorsport market when our products, distributed by Goodridge UK, evolved to become today's benchmark standard of this demanding industry. Due to the the logistics involved in supplying vast quantities of hose and fittings to the UK motorsport industry, Earls's decided to establish their own UK head office at Silverstone Circuit in the early 80's.Combining our knowledge and close collaboration with a broad spectrum of motorsport formulæ including F1, F3, Indy, Touring Car, British Superbike, Sidecar and World Rally teams, we design and manufacture a comprehensive range of high performance hose and fittings in a variety of core materials to suit all applications - including Speed-Flex™ brake hoses, Swivel-Seal™ oil & fuel lines, coolant lines, Temp-A-Cure™ oil coolers and Quick Disconnect couplings.Earl's Performance Products have distribution outlets across the globe. Renowned as the world's No.1 motorsport hose and fittings manufacturer, Earl's also offer an in-house precision engineering facility, based at our UK Head Office at Silverstone racing circuit, producing bespoke, prototype and batch quantity components to individual customers' requirements. By utilising our state-of-the-art machinery and complete knowledge of motorsport, we are able to provide fast, efficient solutions exceeding customers' expectations whilst maintaining the high degree of quality associated with Earl's Performance Products.http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/aboutus.html

RDP use them but are $207 so seem a bit dearer than some. They do come with everything however including the copper washers. What I like though is the filter is off to the side (RDP fit them on the passanger side of engine) as opposed to the front, like the ebay earls kits. Looks a bit neater IMO. Any advice?Sonic oil line kit Edited 07/03/11 10:28 AM by bomber
