The NSW Cops were the only ones Australia wide that had an issue with the standard brakes on the FG's, since FORD stopped using the Territory spec brakes on the FG’s (they did on the B series) and used essentially NA spec XR6 brakes the NSW coppers said NO! This went on for about 6 months until Ford conceded and offered them a Brembo upgrade but with this they also had to include the Typhoon rims to clear them!

I’ve seen plenty go through the auctions from anything from $25k - $30!

But as mentioned before I saw Nitro FG F6310 with 65k on it for 34K actually this car is on sale at Ford lot right now for $42!!!

By the way - the Cops serviced the car every 10,000 K.

Better than Ford recommended. Ford recommendations are talked about elsewhere

I think your find regular Fford service as per the book is 15,000. Vicpol cars were oil changed every 5000 and serviced every 10,000. That was the traffic cars (we always looked after them). At stations, the div vans could go beyond that a bit cause they couldn't afford to bring them off the road for a day sometimes, especially if there wasn't a replacement vehicle available.

Auto is a bit dodgy but after some persitant nagging to the dealer and 3-4 visits of checking and software upgrades new diff bushes they have agreed to fit a new box!
