Firstly, Got some Bilstein shocks installed on Saturday courtesy of Wholesale Suspension and Pat and WOW what a difference to the handling and feel to the car, took it for a run along the winding roads of the national park yesterday and it just ate up the bends.

Thanks Pat, could not be happier the difference is amazing and I would encourage anyone to do the upgrade.

Secondly, Diff Bush !!! Got the new diff bush installed a few weeks ago and let me just say that when the boys from service and myself had a look at it we could not understand how this bush could be an upgrade and if anything a downgrade maybe. A couple of them even took

bets on how long it would last on my car. If anyone has not seen the upgraded bush then let me describe it to you. Apparently the rubber compound has been upgraded but unfortunately it now has two huge voids on either side of the bush and the rubber now only makes contact on

2 sides of the body of the bush instead of four . the voids are about one and a half inches long and run around either side of the body . Im sure Pat would be more than happy to put a picture up of the bush if he still has it. I first noticed the a problem with the bush a couple of weeks after the install

because of the noise going over bumps and it gradually got worse , the car then developed a slight lateral movement as it went over bumps and all the usual other problem associated with a broken diff bush.

Pat took the car for a quick drive before hand and noticed the problem straight away and so now the car was in for a shock upgrade and a diff bush upgrade.

The thing I really dont understand is how is the upgraded bush suppose to last longer than the old one? and to my way of thinking by the way its designed if the bush is installed with the voids set vertically you will get excessive side to side movement and if set horizontally then excessive up and down movement

especially going over bumps and uneven surfaces and more so when the rubber goes soft after a few thousand K's, but its only my opinion and I stand to be corrected.

Once again thanks Pat your crew did a great job.

I think he is referring to the Ford one, that is meant to be better.
