made my own kit over the weekend. works well, intake temps are better. identical temps to mates fg with huge HDI intercooler

as expected, intake sounds more powerful, quicker response, exhaust note sounds alot better more crisp and sssstutut

Doesn't look too bad, can you or would you cut the crossover in half to clean it up a bit?

yeah was using this setup on friday night, didnt have the oil breather hooked up though made it run abit sloppy

I would cut the crossover buttt if I get defected or whatever ive still got the stock setup.

or just replace it with another pipe. Just use the flexy pipe all over the motor! lol.

Mind you with the air filter showing like that, you will be defected if they pop the bonnet. Either way, piss to pass.

good stuff. Saves you 800$

you can cut off the intake and exit parts of the xover and weld up the holes then flip it over and remove the centre devider in the xover by cutting a square hole in the middle then remove the devider and weld the square up again.

I have seen it done looks nice, sorta like the old aps xover.

I pretty much had the exact setup, but had an air box and a pipe that replaced the crossover..

I think I have 2 crossovers lying around if u want one for free to chop up.. let me know and ill have a check to make sure..

That flexi pipe will collapse under boost.

I don't doubt you've gained some response down low, but as soon as that boost winds up I guarantee that pipe will collapse and choke it.
