Not too late desciple.

Yeah s3xrt. I went last year. No bag searches and there were people with massive eskies full of grog. If your there early enough you will park about 5 metres from where you sit. Make sure you bring chairs though if se sit down the back where theres no seating.

it what motor racing was 20 years ago.

Well, I didn't win the portable BBQ on eBay though I put what I thought was a reasonable bid :roflmbo:

I plan to bring some snags and bread / sauce and my portable butane stove (but we all know it aint the same as using a BBQ) :crybaby: I'll buy enough snags for 2 each (about 18 snags should do us) and some bread and some soft drink / water. Happy for those that want to partake to help me share the cost - probably about $4 each should do us I would say if you want to partake. Just don't expect the little butane stove to be a powerhouse at cooking snags

And if you really don't feel like snags, it will be a "visit the food caravan" lunch (but the good thing about doing the snags is for those that CBF queuing up at the food caravan :roflmbo:

And am sure there will be a few of us who would be willing to share their eskies (me including).

:roflmbo: I can't believe it's this close to the event and there have been no new posts since 17 May :omg:

Anyway, hope every one understands that the cruise is on this Sunday and NOT this Saturday. It got changed because there was more happening on the Sunday.

Okay, so the weather looks a little damp this Sunday, but you know what that means - less crowd  And you know what - it's a north to north westerly wind which is traditionally good weather warm wind so it may actually be a pretty reasonable weather day despite what the BOM says

Forecast for Sunday

Cloudy. Areas of rain developing around dawn, easing to isolated showers by early evening. Winds north to northeasterly averaging 25 to 35 km/h, reaching 60 km/h at times, tending north to northwesterly around midday. Overnight temperatures falling to around 8 with daytime temperatures reaching between 11 and 17.

Albury-Wodonga Rain at times. Min10 Max17

Wangaratta Rain at times, easing. Min9 Max17

Hope see some more post up that they can come along - you really haven't experienced V8 Supercars until ya been to Winton where you can be up close and personal like in the good ol' days of motor racing - the sound - it's true Aussie rumble :omg:

:beerchug:
