Barely improved my 60' time when I ran it modded which was frustrating, but I'm too green at launching on the sticky strip

I ran it under half a tank to keep weight down but half way down the track I ran out of petrol and had to back off.Secon run 13.5 and same thing happened.Went out and filled up with 98.Third run, 13.0 dead without warminng up the tyres and with the towbar fitted.I have since got that down to 12 dead but can't keep traction once the boost kicks in in first and second. My 60fts are so slow.So I'd say get your launch right and you'll pull good number. More power is NOT necessarily always a good thing.

The mechanic said that was one of the biggest stock outputs he has had and I'm guessing he has tuned hundreds. He also said they are usual about 200rwkw. As for the quater mile time in an auto, mid 13's are possible if you know how to launch them. Trick is to stall it in ports mode in second then push it to first to launch. They have a cut out when you try to stall to high or to long in first.
