just read online that the accident on Great Ocean Road was a motorcyclist hit by a Ford Falcon of all things at Wye River.

Rider died unfortunately but there were heaps of witnesses.

Thanks for the cruise Rudiger, great job as usual :spoton:

Also thanks for helping with the solenoid mate, car is running like a dream now

Mate, you're a natural - and lurvv the color co-ordinated shot :buttrock:

Good thing too you were able to avoid the traffic accident but it's a reminder that you do have to be careful on cruises - especially when things get a little spirited :icon_ford:

So sorry I didn't join you all to day - sounds like you all had an enjoyable cruise :beerchug:

Car went very well today,

Over 500 km travelled. New Uniden 720SX handheld radios were great and today was a perfect warmer for next month's Vic Alpine Cruise 2011.

If you can spare the weekend, jump onboard!

So Rusty had car trouble again?

Sounds like Gary's lost the crown. :stirthepot:

Nah mate, breaking down twice in a row (well in row for the one's I've attended) on the Snowies Cruise a million miles from civilisation and causing consternation amongst fellow cruisers takes a bit of beating - Rusty hasn't taken that crown yet :roflmbo:

And thanks Rockatansky for the bump - yep am hoping the VIC Alpine cruise is gonna be good as well - it's only 7 weeks away :beerchug:

Geez Jono, bit of artistic flair there. Some nice pics. You will get Adam all jealous. lol.

I like it when families come along. Its even better when they enjoy themselve. I bring my daughter as cruises are our thing together. My 12 year old boy sometimes comes but usually bails and jumps in with Rusty, then falls assleep :dontknow:

I think, when you look at the 2 group pics we did, the colour co ordinated, and the non colour one, it definately makes a difference. The non one isnt special, but the one properly lined up looks awesome.

Its a matter of a opinion where the maroon one should have gone. Perhaps down the end, then the purple (sorry if Im not using correct colour name), then black then back up through blue to white. But either way, the point I'm making is that it is worth that little bit of effort.
