Given it has leather and premium, if it was auto I'd say about $16k. If it was manual I'd say about $19k would be right. I brought it directly off the lease company with instructions that I'd take it without them touching it. I know the guy who had it on lease so while I hadn't seen it I knew it's history. Just needs a bloody good clean inside and a couple of supermarket dings sorted and it's all good. Got a cigarette burn on the driver's seat (cloth) that's a pisser but maybe someone can sort that. Any ideas anyone? The kms are up abit more than I'd like, 119,000 but at $18,000 (NZ) I'm not one to complain and sh*t don't they go....Woohoo... Point is though keep looking they are out there. silverjet New Member 14 Member For: 14y 5m 12d Gender: Male Posted 09/02/11 07:00 PM Share Posted 09/02/11 07:00 PM I agree with everyone else take your time we searched for a good one for 6 months and ended up buying one sight unseen(I'm mad) from auckland and I live in the far south of NZ.however I went through a vehicle broker we paid $15800 NZD for our 2003 BA MKI auto xr6t with leather trim and premium sounds had 3 minor issues which were rectified at ford oamaru at the broker's expense. that and we had to put 4 new tyres on it and only 120000k's on the clock. the minor flaws aside wasnt a bad deal in the end given that we bought it sight unseen but she was the best deal at the time. I plan on buying an XR6T ute next after the old WB kingswood Ute sells. this time however I will be way more piccy about the car and wont be buying sight unseen. the wait is well worth it and if you go through a dealer KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER. if they fail to comply with the consumer rights act then nail them.
