as I said I'm old, but I did remember to load it up somewhere over the 2 grand. I was to busy watching the tree to keep my reaction times down.

reaction time for the 14.322 sec pas was 0.507 sec.

left the stick in performance mode so the car did all the work.

best part was blowing away the commadores I was up against.

sitting in the staging lanes waiting for another run, I had the bonnet up to cool the motor down and you should have seen all the Expensive Daewoo people come over and take a look.

getting some good times there !!

I would be interested in what tyre pressures as Geea was running 40. I managed to drop off .1 of a second straight away by dropping the pressure to just under 20psi. Unfortunately I only got that run and the place was log jammed so I went home.

Been a while..will have to take the rust bucket out again soon and see what I can get out of it this time !

1axr,

Don't know what you're on about mate - that's a great reaction time.

yeh, not to bad.

I had dropped the rear tyre preasure from 40psi down, but with out a tyre gauge I couldn't tell what it was at the time.

when I pumped them up today, they where at about 30psi.

may have got better times with lower preasure.

may try the Expensive Daewoo versus ford day at the plex comming up soon.

I'm getting a few small bugs ironed out of my new chip tomorrow. Hopefully it will all be fixed, if so I intend to head to Calder to test it out and see what the improvement is. Marty, from Amberly Auto, says if I was had a best of 14.03 before the EXEDE that I should be aiming for 13.2-13.5 after. :D

Manuals are a b**ch to make quick out there!

*looks around at Mr Walker* :tonguepoke:

I had to bite at that bait.

Well, we'll find out on Sunday - that is if anyone is still coming which it appears NOT!

1axr seems to be avoiding me - you've got my numer Sid - give me a ring if you still want to go. Either way I don't think that any great times would be posted by either manual or auto as the forecast is for 36 degrees so we'll find out how good the intercooler is (or isn't).

mr walker

sorry I went to the plex on wednesday for two reasons.

(1) I'm working on sunday and will not beable to make it down there.

(2) wednesday gave me the chance to try the beast in the heat of the day and the cool of the night.

there was a manual turbo there on wednesday and I think one of his runs he got 14.2 sec pass.

and yes I'm avoiding you, cause you are such a great racing car driver.
