if you are going to buy a ford, get used to that sort of customer service...... if you can wait buy a BFII to be sure to be sure

Weird! my ford dealer bought up my vin #, then cross referenced it to the schematic of the engine, showing individual part #'s including the rods which are listed as f6 items -EASY! They are not the most useful people, but helped out with no probs on this occasion. I'd try a different dealership if yours cant/wont help.

Go into the spare parts place. When you ask for a set of rods they will ask for the VIN. Then just match the part number to the weak or semi weak rods lol
