You have the ingredients to a 350+rwkw engine but the T5 gear box will grenade.

But with T56's so cheap these days you would be mad not to just get it done.

KTMR is a performance place here in townsy. I am not looking at major numbers yet and got the cat for free from a friend who makes em. The cooler was new in box for $100 off a mate (he had no need for it, got rid of his project) I am customising the front bar which is fibreglass already so it will be made fit in neat an tidy, plus I am making up brackets to have it sit where I want. Thanks very much for your input and some thought will go into itHey C D I was not aware that KTMR was tuning fords I know he was looking into it but was not ready to tune yet. well that's what he told me a few months ago. im going to take my car to KTMR be dyoned to check power and AFR's. would like to have a look at your rig some time if you want to meet up for a cruise with another townsy send us a pm. As for the box a t56 will be going in as will a stronger tail shaft plus a rebuild on the diff, however I am minus the funds right now to get it done so that's on the back burner for now (but with how I drive I dare say wont be too much longer an I will need to do it regardless). Zorst an cat wise all up its cost me $500 for the set up I got so I am not complaining about it til I am chasin bigger numbers. as far as I have been lead to believe 350 at the tread is not an impossible feat with my current set up, obvious issue not withstanding. No springs an valve upgrades as of yet, I have a std xr6 top end in the garage but am unsure if there is much difference between it an a 6t top end... if not I will do it up then swap out with std, if there is too much difference then I have a std xr6 top end available for anyone interested lol.KTMR told me around mid november that they were closing down over chrissy and doing the tuners course or something an should be up and ready to tune early this year. They are who I dyno'd through and will continue to deal with as TMS f*cked me round. TMS said they wouldnt dyno my ute then told me I needed a new engine bla bla bla, f*ck EM. As or the tuner down at mackay I'd llove to go down there an get it tuned by him however fundidge is running low atm, but who knows what the future holdsHopefully have the fibreglassing finished on the front bar with in next few weeks, trying for an origional look but... still similar enough to look ford. as I think I stated chasin std xr skirts an rear bar if any one knows of someone or has their old one layin round please pm me. I need to get the std kit back on an the front bar finished so I can get a respray done asap or its going to continue looking like a sleeper or sh*tbox either way Edited 05/01/11 04:26 AM by C D
