Nice ute. What's a ktmr tune?

Is the 213rwkw without a tune yea? Planning to upgrade the 5 speed or stop molding under 300rwkw?

Just a few pointers, 3" cat is to small, go a 4 1/2 or 5", and an 800mm intercooler is Goin to be a nightmare to fit and look a bit poo, why no go with 500 or 600?

its running a xcal1 flash from capa but I think its had a dodgy tune somewhere along the line. KTMR is a performance place here in townsy. I am not looking at major numbers yet and got the cat for free from a friend who makes em. The cooler was new in box for $100 off a mate (he had no need for it, got rid of his project) I am customising the front bar which is fibreglass already so it will be made fit in neat an tidy, plus I am making up brackets to have it sit where I want.

Thanks very much for your input and some thought will go into it

What valve springs does it have? They need upgrading from factory. Also look at a fuel pump upgrade, possibly surge tank. With a good custom tune then your T5 may struggle.

LOL just a basic tune and valve spring upgrade will give it enough to blow up your 5 speed!

That engine is so overbuilt for the power... Should be able to handle 400+rwkw... The 5 speed can handle 250rwkw... Maybe a little more...

Look for a T56 6 speed and a decent clutch before you do anything...

Oh and 3 inch Exhaust is sh*t... You sure its not 3.5inch?

3 inch flows less than the standard exhaust... Twin 2 and 1/4 flows more air... 3 inch is a downgrade from stock LOL

Just a dumb question, but was this an original XR6T ute?

It doesnt have the XR body kit, looks like an XLS kit.

Just wondering :dontknow:
