And you notice it overboosting situation(more so at night).I would rather have the piece of mind knowing that if I tune a car, its not going to overboost at night and cause possible engine failureDanny. So Turbo Exhaust HousingUpgrade 1 Exhaust housing porting38mm Swing Valve fitted10, 12 0r 15psi actuator fitted Requires your housing$500may be on the cards :-/But like kv stated. will I lose some of the fg bottom end? or will the intake mod compensate somewhat for that? Fitting a stronger actuator will make it a lot worse. The FG drives nicer than the previous models because of the smaller turbo, but if you want dyno figures or bragging rights then you need the bigger turbo. Go for a drive in a BA/F and then your FG see which you would prefer and plan around that.

I've done 20+ passes on mine and it always gets a decent workout. Lots of slipping it off the line as you do in manuals. It's only really slipped once, after stepping off the clutch with tc still on. But a clutch is on the cards before the next round.
ebxmple Member 1,322 Member For: 17y 1m 3d Posted 14/03/11 03:21 AM Share Posted 14/03/11 03:21 AM Doing the wastegate porting and actuator wont make you lose down low power,it will help control the boost to the desired level in tune. Having a better intake and free flowing exhaust is going to make that turbo spin up pretty quick,so you want to control boost as best as possible. What about a Nizpro overboost valve, will that help? If its definately not needed then I wont do the porting, swing valve and actuator mod.(can you pm me price on the MW please so I have a ballpark in the future.)What about a Niz overboost valve as Matty asked?
