Hey Ben, that turbo upgrade is just to control boost better.. You'd have to change your turbo to a BA/BF one so yea more expensive.. You might be able to change your turbo housings/internals but im not sure..

Depending on the driver, but 12's is the norm for manuals, other than Spiro's freak machine, I think the next 'normal' quickest manual is like a high 11?

Good luck with it dude, and yea I'd be waiting for Mick to get back..

Cheers Mike.

thanks for the info...

think ill just stick with 320ish rwkw for a wile ;)

Looks about right, I assume your fitting all the gear yourself? And Rapid sells full 4inch XForce systems for $1400 so that would save you $600.

Prob just get it all installed at pit lane.

Is the xforce 4" for utes also?

What about the stock clutch? with all this new found power surely it isn't going to handle it? if it was me I'd factor in $1800ish for a Mal wood option3+.

havnt read anythin yet about stock clutch needin upgrade to handle 320ish...

if you baby it down with no boost you should be fine.

AFAIK the only thing you worry about without babying the car to tuner, is injectors. Rest of mods you can cruise with no boost down.

Else, tow it down for a safe option.

You should get a full stainless steel exhaust. Bestmuffler sell them for $1690, full stainless 4" XForce exhaust.

You'll need to port the wastegate and put a larger flap on there to control the boost. But you can get mid 300's without doing the intake at all. Just change the pipes over to avoid them splitting with the higher boost. That would save you money and keep you closer to your budget. Or you could pick up a battery relocation kit for $395 and an airbox for $495 which is a similar cost to the other parts you listed, but you'd get a sh*tload more response with the airbox and 4" intake straight off the turbo.

So I think you should do this:

PLAZMAMAN airbox & intake - $495

Battery reloc kit - $395

PWR Stepped Cooler - $990

Herrod Pipe Kit - $450

4" full zorst - $1690

Injectors - $450

X3 - $795

Custom tune by Mick@PitLane - $800

$6515

BUT if I were you I'd spend the $795 for the X3 on getting the wastegate ported. X3's are a waste of time, just get the tune flashed into the PCM and keep it in there!

If this is too expensive just get rid of the intake and do the piping so take off $890 so $5625 :turboboink:
