But if done properly and as long as towbar can take it I cant see why it wouldnt.Ive got a bf2 ute 6spd man and have towed some heavy stuff with it that I would estimate up to 2000kg and it did it fine. Adrian_F6 Large Member Member 551 Member For: 16y 6m Gender: Male Location: In The Sticks Posted 01/01/11 01:58 AM Share Posted 01/01/11 01:58 AM my last tornado had a 418rwkw street tune, I used it to tow a kanga tipper trailer with all the auger bits and a kanga on it, it was some of the most fun I had in that car, because the trailer and kanga weighed so much I was able to floor it going down the road at 60 and do massive burnouts LOL, probably not the best thing for the car but I couldnt care....I think all up the trailer, bits and kanga weighed about 2.5tonne... the tornado was a zf 6A.I also towed the horse float with 2 horses, about 2.3tonne, however I drove very nicely due to the animals in the back.oh yeah...... private road...... The weight is a limit ford have suggested it doesnt stop anyone having a higher rated towbar on them.As for the clutch if you drive it properly it will be fine.
