Probably depends on what colour you get. Mine is Plexis Blue (not Plexis Blueprint). I prefer the feel of cloth to leather and I'm used to it, so that's why I didn't fork out for the leather.I did however fork out the extra for the 18's. This was mainly because I was of the opinion that "bigger is better" (as far as looks go anyway). However each time I see 18's on an XR I wish I had them as well. Vegetables well they're the ones who didn't read the whole topic & ensuing posts.Scotty Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7244-leather-or-wheels/page/3/#findComment-62149 Share on other sites

Thanks for your opinions everyone. I think I will go for the leather and sound. Wheels can wait. Or maybe I will try out an XR8....Hmmm that is a topic for this time next year. Posted 03/11/03 10:38 PM Share Posted 03/11/03 10:38 PM good choice.I'm so glad I got the leather and I'm glad I got the 17's, but just to throw a spanner in the works, are you getting the premium brakes? I'd have forgone the leather for the brakes if I had to choose between the two.... As for the brakes I will stick to the standard as Ford are saying that they have sorted the rotor issue for new build vehicles. Leather certainly adds a touch of class. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7244-leather-or-wheels/page/3/#findComment-62195 Share on other sites
