Hello,

I am a new member and have been perusing the posts for the past week. The majority of them are excellent reading. There is a wealth of information mixed in amongst the BS. You just have to sort it out.

I am a grandpa (aged 62) and proud of it! I still feel the need, the need for speed, so I purchased a G6ET (also needed the comfort factor) three weeks ago and I now have a permanent grin on my face! I have not had this much fun driving a family sedan in quite some time.

Driving to and from Brisbane Airport the other day, I noticed that the police had pulled over three vehicles at different spots along the way. All of them were Expensive Daewoo SS’s. It seems that the police target such vehicles, whereas I never even get a second look from them. Hence, a "wolf in sheep’s clothing"!

May all of you have a safe and happy New Year.

Welcome to the club.... I'm a grandpa too.

Good to see power levels increasing with age.

You need to take it to a drag strip at least once, or have some fun on a driver training day or skidpan.

Enjoy the car.

Bels car with a new exhaust and some F6 injectors and a real quick tune saw 298 rwkw, could have gone further but IAT temps were starting to get high

Welcome to the forum SAG. You'll find it very useful and entertaining 24/7 I'm sure. Nice choice of ride. :buttrock:

The bad news is though, you'll get used to the beast's power sooner or later, and will start wondering why the it isn't going as quick as it used to. Fortunately there is good news in the way of many different upgrades that can be done to bring back that "OMG this thing is quick" factor. And that is the dilemma........ knowing when to stop.

Enjoy the ride, enjoy the journey..... :beerchug:

Cheers, Max

Are you saying that even GRANDPA'S can get Cold AIR Intake, High performance CAT and a performance tune to produce around 300 KW at the wheels? I would like to see the look on his face......
