But polished frame will look better with a black floor. Its just gettin a bit busy with 3 different colours covering such large areas imo. Ps. Acrylic/perspex is not gunna happen. Even 10mm will warp in the sun let alone where its only millimeters above the 4" stainless exhaust.

Donating Members 8,142 Member For: 14y 22d Gender: Male Location: 2 Fuchsia Court, Narre Warren. 3805 Posted 10/05/12 07:19 AM Author Share Posted 10/05/12 07:19 AM Weld burn happens when you weld shy. Where that join is will be completely cut out when the tubbs go in. Pretty much set in concrete now that the flooring has to be 19mm. Final decision will be made after polishing, if polishing comes out as I hope then the deck will be marine ply sprayed black. If the polishing turns to arse then the frame will be sprayed black and will go dark red decking.

I made the join there on purpose. You can also see how the tubbs will be attached and I like showing off my new found 3d modelling skills haha Edited 10/05/12 07:40 AM by STAINOnegger
