These are the patterns I went with, but can make more whenever I want.

I can swap brakelights and indicators around wherever I like... Prob have indicator in middle on all of them anyway..

Heres what the rear looks like before folding and screwing on the lights.

Well today went reasonably well... Got the underneath panels cut, folded and checked how they fit. The hours I spent in front of autocad and double/triple checking measurements paid off because it was a fantastic fit first try.

I was actually a lil worried it would take two or three goes before it fit spot on so yer :dance

Anyway you just wanna see some progress piccies :lol so here ya goes...

Couple vids also, if they work, of my cnc router and folder doin the good stuff...

Panels folded and stuck together. I think I have set the numberplate too far back. :doh But this is just a trial piece... will be laser cutting the next one from stainless.

Yeah Ben,

Tig welding for 35 yrs and started my business 1985 Vessel manufacture/repairs, pipelines, chiller plant pipework and of course stainless mate, usually all purged s/s tube and pipe. Eyes are starting to go + my back, knees and other body parts lately though and trying to go into semi-retirement mode just doing quotes and working the odd shutdown. Unfortunately too much work and not enough decent manpower at the moment.

Cheers

That looks awesome s3xr6t..now the cad images make sense to me :P my minds a bit :fool: sometimes lol.

The number plate recess is deep but id leave it and see what happens. Like theres no rule (that I know of) that states how deep a number plate can be :hmmm:

Cant wait for the finished product to be on the ute :spoton: then you can sit back and enjoy! :drinks:

there is a rule regarding to what angle the plate has to be clearly visible from.

worse case, you make some sort of mount to locate it further out, sort of floating behind the panel
