Hi everyone new to the forum first post, you all know how it is haha,as to what needs to get done to for me to crack my 1000hp, I currently have a 2004 ba turbz and am going for the big numbers, I know that I will need to do my gearbox cv's ect, heres a list of what I will be getting done to it!

Atomic 998 bottem end, has all forged pistons ect

6 boost headers

either a garrett gt51r or a 4208

Nizpro plenum intake

1000cc injectors bosh of course

upgraded valve springs

solid lifters

processwest fuel rail

anti surge tank with 2x 044 bosh pumps

custom made dump pipe with a 44 or 50mm sceamer pipe

and theres a whole list, but the engine builder will decide, if anyone can shed some light on what they can recommend to get done ect. that would be greatly appreciated and yes I know its going to cost a lot of money iv'e priced it at 25+ grand to do it not really including the gearbox and tailshafts ect.

thanks everyone, sorry if its in the wrong place wasnt sure were to put it!

Best place to start is have a read through the area you've posted this in, that should give you a good start.

As for 25g I hate to say it but good luck keeping to it!! Builds like this double your initial figure & triple your build schedule & then make sure you have some left over for when sh!t breaks for the fun of it, TRUST ME!!!

Good luck though bud it's one hell of a ride.

Good to see a big goal.

Buuuutttt, expect to be questioned on how your going to achieve it, people come on occazionly making claims of 8 sec pass's and 1500hp. more power to ya when you achieve it.

Yeah of coarse mate that's the beauty of sct software and the x3 you can run 3 completley different tunes with different fuels in the one car & can be changed in just a matter of minutes.

What size gate spring you decide on with ultimatly define how little boost you can run & in turn power. Ive got a normal everyday tune & one with abit more fun on pump & then something for dyno days & the track, not that we're even close but they all different for different occassions.

p plater .... 600rwkw build.

Is this gonna be one of those other threads again? Just of basic figures

20k will get you a full forged long 998 motor from atomic fitted and tuned.

if your sticking with an auto, you will need 8-12k for a powerglide/tailshaft/transbrake etc setup

else you need a massive malwood clutch and strong g/box for same as above.

then 10k-12k for turbo, cooler, plenum and all pipe work etc.

2-4k for a 4" exhaust system + dump.

fuel rails + 1000cc injectors, surge tank + pumps etc 4-5k

list goes on from here. ask anyone with over 450rwkw!

As per my email, bank on 40-50k turn key for 1000+hp, you sound like you won't be doing any of the labour yourself and any build of this calibre has at least 10k of labour involved to build the car start to finish. I know, we have built 3 falcons making this sort of power, and our hourly rate is half what others charge for the same or lesser quality work. My 2 words of advise are this:

The poor man pays twice

And

Anyone who promises you the world, so much more than anyone else can apparently do the job for, isn't a magician, and the others aren't expensive, they are doing one of 2 things:

1:Under quoting to get your car in the door and pulled apart, then all of a sudden this and that start to add up and you magically end up at the same 40+k

2:They do everything half arsed with cheap parts, don't do various things they should do, make the power on the dyno sheet, you take your car and 6 months later you sell it for nothing and drive a camry as its fallen to pieces and everything on it is a POS.
