Builds like this double your initial figure & triple your build schedule & then make sure you have some left over for when sh!t breaks for the fun of it, TRUST ME!!!Good luck though bud it's one hell of a ride. Buuuutttt, expect to be questioned on how your going to achieve it, people come on occazionly making claims of 8 sec pass's and 1500hp. more power to ya when you achieve it. Ive got a normal everyday tune & one with abit more fun on pump & then something for dyno days & the track, not that we're even close but they all different for different occassions. Posted 30/12/10 12:53 PM Share Posted 30/12/10 12:53 PM (edited) p plater .... 600rwkw build. Is this gonna be one of those other threads again? Just of basic figures20k will get you a full forged long 998 motor from atomic fitted and tuned.if your sticking with an auto, you will need 8-12k for a powerglide/tailshaft/transbrake etc setupelse you need a massive malwood clutch and strong g/box for same as above.then 10k-12k for turbo, cooler, plenum and all pipe work etc.2-4k for a 4" exhaust system + dump.fuel rails + 1000cc injectors, surge tank + pumps etc 4-5klist goes on from here. ask anyone with over 450rwkw! I know, we have built 3 falcons making this sort of power, and our hourly rate is half what others charge for the same or lesser quality work. My 2 words of advise are this:The poor man pays twiceAndAnyone who promises you the world, so much more than anyone else can apparently do the job for, isn't a magician, and the others aren't expensive, they are doing one of 2 things:1:Under quoting to get your car in the door and pulled apart, then all of a sudden this and that start to add up and you magically end up at the same 40+k2:They do everything half arsed with cheap parts, don't do various things they should do, make the power on the dyno sheet, you take your car and 6 months later you sell it for nothing and drive a camry as its fallen to pieces and everything on it is a POS.6BOOST
