Hey guys,

About to get some dba 4000 and Ferodo DS2500 pads on the front.

I have been told to get a braided brake lines.

What is the benifit of them?

My car is going in for a tune and some work and will get around the 300kw mark. Would I need the braided lines?

thanks :)

Todd.

If you are going to do track days or a lot of towing the braided lines are worth the money.

The std ones are not long and do not flex that much under normal conditions. If you are at the track or towing your brakes cop a fair bit of heat and that affects the std lines a lot, as your brake fluid gets really hot as well.

They will not stop the car any quicker or make any diff under normal driving conditions.
