Hey guys,

Will I have to change the valves from my standard LPG Head to put it on my turbo motor?

Or will those valves handle the job ok?

Any help is appreciated!

Cheers

It used to be that the running of LPG required better quality valves and seats as it runs hotter with less seat lubrication than petrol.

Unless there is something unusual that Ford may have done, I would say that head would be ok to run on petrol.

Yeah that's what I sort of figured, I am mostly worried about the exhaust valve, as I know the turbo heads have a larger valve, but I just want to be sure that the LPG head will handle the extra heat a turbo will put on the exhaust valve

Ah ok then, I knew the turbo head had something different about the exhaust valve to handle the heat, so im just hoping it won't be too much for the LPG head.

they are the basic valve springs they offer so guess they would go with the 698.. I had them in my atomic built motor worked fine good for boost up to about 25 psi if I remember correctly.. why not go the next ones up think they are 801's if you are going for 450 and not have to ever worry about them again do it properly once..
