tamz Member 21 Member For: 15y 9d Posted 24/12/10 10:35 AM Share Posted 24/12/10 10:35 AM Hey guys I have a 2003 Ba xr6t, with around about 360kw and 60,000kms.. I did the t56 conversion myself about a year ago and since then in the lower rpm range from about 1000 - 3000 rpm there is a vibration felt through the driveline... At first I though it could have been because I still have the old 2:75 diff gears.. But now It's sort of starting to annoy me lol.. Any1 else experience this with their car? I've heard from a few people that it's normal in the T56s but I just want to make sure.. Any help would be Greatly appreciated... Cheers Tam! tamz Member 21 Member For: 15y 9d Posted 25/12/10 12:07 AM Author Share Posted 25/12/10 12:07 AM Sorry 3.75 gears lol typo error... Stuff 2.75 the thing would bloody move lol.. Yeh could be tailshaft I guess.. When I removed it I refitted it I marked it same position.. Nah doesn't do it rolling or when decelerating only under load in an gear say around 1000 rpm just near 3000rpm... The power is fine on the car still breaking traction in second and pulls away fine.... Any other suggestion on what to look for guys? cheers for that... dvsboy Member 11 Member For: 16y 7m 28d Posted 26/12/10 06:45 AM Share Posted 26/12/10 06:45 AM I`ve had the exact same problem with mine. . . My T56 was put in about 4 months ago and ever since had the same vibration you have in the same rev range. I have since removed the complete rear end and had it overhauled, I`ve also had a on car tailshaft balance done at ford, and still haven`t gotten rid of the vibration. The next thing to do is remone the box and send it back for warranty. . . I`ll keep you posted.
